ÇOMÜ Experimental Research Application and Research Center has successfully completed the inspection carried out within the scope of the "Regulation on the Welfare and Protection of Animals Used for Experimental and Other Scientific Purposes" in order to breed, feed, shelter and care of animals to be used for experimental and other scientific purposes; the works and procedures of producers, suppliers, users and authorized research institutions; the works and procedures of origin, breeding, marking, care and sheltering and killing of animals, when necessary, evaluation of projects related to the use of animals in procedures and authorization of procedures, the qualifications of the working personnel, the records to be kept, the species that must be bred in authorized institutions to be used in procedures, determining the animal species and the principles to be complied with by the institutions; and ensuring the welfare and safety of animals bred, supplied or used in procedures. The inspection, in which the Responsible Manager Veterinarian Sait ELMAS represented our University, was attended by; In the inspections attended by Çanakkale Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry Veterinarian Filiz FERENDECİ EROL, Veterinarian Ömer Bilal ÖZCAN and Istanbul Pendik Veterinary Control Institute personnel Veterinarian Muhammed KARAHAN and Veterinarian Pervin SÜRMELİ, it was observed that our Center was operating in accordance with the relevant regulations.
