Our Center Successfully Completed the Audit

COMÜ Experimental Research Application and Research Center raising, feeding, sheltering and caring for animals to be used for experimental and other scientific purposes within the scope of "Regulation on the Welfare and Protection of Animals Used for Experimental and Other Scientific Purposes"; Evaluation of projects related to the use of animals in procedures and procedures, qualifications of working personnel, records to be kept, procedures and procedures related to the origin, breeding, marking, care and sheltering and killing of animals, the work and operations of the manufacturer, supplier, user and authorized research institution, to be used in the procedures. It has successfully given the inspection to determine the species that must be produced in licensed establishments, animal species and the principles to be followed by the establishments, and to ensure the welfare and safety of the animals produced, supplied or used in the procedures. Representing our university, the Director of the Center Prof. Dr. Alper AKÇALI and Responsible Veterinarian Sait ELMAS participated in the audit; Çanakkale Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry Veterinarian Ayşegül ÖZDİLEK, Veterinarian Mehmet ULUDAĞ, and Istanbul Pendik Veterinary Control Institute staff Veterinarian Ahmet ŞİMŞEK and Veterinarian Mehmet Nihat URAL participated in the audits, and it was observed that our Center was operating in accordance with the relevant regulation.
