COMÜ Experimental Research Application and Research Center raising, feeding, sheltering and caring for animals to be used for experimental and other scientific purposes within the scope of "Regulation on the Welfare and Protection of Animals Used for Experimental and Other Scientific Purposes"; Evaluation of projects related to the use of animals in procedures and procedures, qualifications of working personnel, records to be kept, procedures and procedures related to the origin, breeding, marking, care and sheltering and killing of animals, the work and operations of the manufacturer, supplier, user and authorized research institution, to be used in the procedures. It has successfully given the inspection to determine the species that must be produced in licensed establishments, animal species and the principles to be followed by the establishments, and to ensure the welfare and safety of the animals produced, supplied or used in the procedures. Representing our university, the Director of the Center Prof. Dr. Alper AKÇALI, Deputy Director of the Center Prof. Dr. Tevfik Murat KOŞAN and Responsible Manager Veterinarian Sait ELMAS participated in the audit, Deputy Veterinarian Ayşegül ÖZDİLEK, Veterinarian Asumna YILMAZ SEMERCİ, Veterinarian Orbay SAYI, one of the staff of Istanbul Pendik Veterinary Control Institute, and Çanakkale Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry Animal Health and Breeding Branch Manager. In the audits attended by Veterinarian Ahmet ŞİMŞEK, it was observed that our Center operates in accordance with the relevant regulation.
