Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Experimental Research Application and Research Center (ÇOMÜDAM) Our building was put into service on 14 May 2012. On January 31, 2013, with the decision no. 079 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, it received the Work Permit and started the production of experimental animals and experimental studies. It became scientifically active following the improvement of the basic infrastructure of its laboratories. Experimental processes of BAP and TUBITAK projects, as well as many master's theses from the laboratory units established in the center, are carried out by our university staff and students. Basically, laboratory infrastructure is sufficient for many prominent topics such as evaluation of gene expressions from tissues and cell lines, wound healing, anastomosis and biochemical analyzes (WB, gel imaging, etc.).
The Stem Cell Laboratory, on the other hand, has all the necessary infrastructure for the culture of mammalian cells (somatic cells, stem cells and cancer cells) and for monitoring the culture.

Experimental animals such as rats, mice, rabbits and guinea pigs are raised in the center for use in scientific activities. It is possible to perform many experimental models on these animals. With this aspect, the center also serves the regional universities and offers animal experiments for many new products developed in our University's TECHNOPARK.

The center also has specialized devices especially for rabbit anesthesia and monitoring. The center offers opportunities to introduce new approaches in the treatment of many diseases with the ozone device and the hyperbaric oxygen treatment cabin specially designed for experimental animals.
